Thousands of people gathered at the Council of Hispanic Organizations, from 10 am to 10 p.m. on January 20th to support the humanitarian cause for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
Jose RiKo and Kenty Love from Riko band, played one of their latest songs, "El Sol se Apago", which reinforced as a matter of great depth to motivate and overcome the obstacles which sometimes happen in life.
La Mega, La Rumba, The Passport and Celeste Radio broadcast this radio-marathon for twelve continuous hours of programming and artistic parade representing the city of Philadelphia was present.

The "Hispanic Choice Awards 2009", an event that recognizes individuals in the latin community in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware for outstanding work and leadership, hosted an excellent presentation for the young Jose Riko and his band who enlightened the crowd with their songs full of youth and energy.

 En la plaza Thomas Paine, en el centro de Filadelfia, junto a las piezas de ajedrez y fichas de dominó en bronce iluminadas por los tibios rayos de una tarde soleada de primavera,El periodico AL DÍA se reunió con Riko, un grupo de rock en español compuesto por tres hermanos, José, Marian y Milton Rico, quienes nacieron en Duitama, Colombia, y se establecieron con su familia hace seis años en Filadelfia. El cuarto integrante del grupo es Kenty Love, un bajista puertorriqueño que vive en la ciudad hace más de quince años.
